Shiva & Rudra Pujas
Rituals invoking Lord Shiva for health, protection, and liberation
Rudra Abhishek
Sri Rudra Abhishekam · श्री रुद्राभिषेकम्
Rudra Abhishek is the sacred bathing ritual of Lord Shiva, performed through the recitation of Sri Rudram — one of the oldest and most potent hymns from the Krishna Yajurveda. The Shivalingam is bathed with panchamrit (milk, curd, ghee, honey, sugar), rose water, and vibhuti while vadhyars chant the Namakam and Chamakam passages. Rudra is the fierce aspect of Shiva who destroys illness, fear, and accumulated negativity. This ritual carries special significance for Rudraksha wearers — the sacred beads take their very name from Rudra's tears — making each abhishekam a powerful activation for any Rudraksha mala.
- Relieves chronic health issues and persistent ailments
- Destroys accumulated sins and negative karma
- Protects from enemies, black magic, and evil eye
- Energises and activates Rudraksha malas worn by the devotee
- Powerful remedy for Kaal Sarp Dosha and Shani Dosha
- Grants mental peace, emotional stability, and longevity
- Brings prosperity and ultimate moksha blessings
Shiva devotees and Rudraksha wearers, those suffering from persistent health issues, business losses, or relationship troubles. Highly recommended during Shani or Rahu dasha, on Maha Shivaratri, Pradosh Vrat, and every Monday.
Vishnu & Lakshmi Pujas
Rituals for prosperity, vow fulfilment, and divine protection
Satyanarayan Puja
Sri Satyanarayan Vrat Katha · सत्यनारायण पूजा
Satyanarayan Puja is the most beloved household ritual in Hindu tradition — a thanksgiving and wish-fulfilment ceremony for Lord Vishnu in his all-truthful, all-pervading form. The puja includes recitation of the five-chapter Satyanarayan Vrat Katha from the Skanda Purana, narrating five devotees whose lives were transformed by sincere devotion. Prasad (panchamrit and sheera made from semolina, banana, milk, and sugar) is prepared and distributed. This puja is quintessential for completing a vow (vrat) made to God during a difficult period, and is equally performed as a simple, heartfelt act of gratitude for blessings received.
- Fulfilment of heartfelt desires and completion of vows
- Blessings for marriage, new home, childbirth, and promotions
- Removes bad luck and reverses a series of misfortunes
- Brings lasting peace and harmony to the entire household
- Protects from accidents and unexpected negative events
- Creates strong positive vibrations throughout the home
Performed to celebrate milestones: new home, marriage, job, baby shower, or to fulfil a vow made to God. Also traditionally done on Purnima (full moon) days. The most accessible and widely performed puja for all Hindu households.
Vishnu Sahasranama Parayanam
Vishnu Sahasranamam · विष्णु सहस्रनामम्
The Vishnu Sahasranama — one thousand names of Lord Vishnu — is from the Mahabharata (Anushasana Parva), revealed by Bhishma Pitamaha to Yudhishthira as the supreme path to liberation and material success alike. Each of the 1000 names encodes a specific cosmic quality of the divine. The recitation by trained vadhyars, accompanied by Tulsi and flower offerings, creates an intensely purifying vibrational field throughout the home. This parayanam is especially recommended in Tamil households during auspicious days, as a remedy for Vishnu-related doshas, and for general prosperity and family wellbeing.
- Deep purification of the mind, speech, and environment
- Relief from fear, anxiety, and mental disturbances
- Blessings for marital harmony and healthy relationships
- Success in career, business, and protection from enemies
- Long life, physical wellbeing, and vitality
- Gradual path towards moksha and spiritual elevation
Ideal for Vaishnavas and all Vishnu devotees. Recommended on Ekadashi, Vaikunta Ekadashi, and Rama Navami. Beautiful for those seeking general prosperity and as a monthly practice for family blessings.
Lakshmi Puja
Sri Mahalakshmi Archana · श्री महालक्ष्मी पूजा
Goddess Mahalakshmi — the divine mother of wealth, beauty, grace, and abundance — is worshipped through Sri Sukta recitation, Ashtalakshmi archana, and lotus flower offerings. Lakshmi Puja is one of the most regularly performed household rituals in India, especially on Fridays (Lakshmi's sacred day) and during festivals. The puja acknowledges that wealth and prosperity are divine gifts, and invites the goddess to remain as a permanent, welcome presence in the home. When Lakshmi is honoured consistently, she bestows not just material wealth but also the inner abundance of peace, beauty, and contentment.
- Removes financial blocks and invites steady cash flow
- Blesses the home with beauty, abundance, and harmony
- Helps clear debts and open new income opportunities
- Brings stability and preservation of accumulated wealth
- Removes weak Shukra (Venus) dosha effects
- Strengthens marital happiness and domestic prosperity
Ideal on Fridays, Diwali, Dhanteras, Akshaya Tritiya, and Varalakshmi Vratam. Recommended for those experiencing financial difficulties, debt, or business stagnation. A beautiful weekly practice for household prosperity.
Santhana Gopala Puja
Santhana Gopala Homam · संतान गोपाल पूजा
Santhana Gopala Puja is dedicated to Lord Krishna in his form as the divine child — the supreme giver of progeny and children's wellbeing. The Santhana Gopala mantra from the Atharva Veda and the Gopala Ashtakam are recited with offerings of butter, milk, yellow flowers, and fruits. This puja is performed specifically by couples facing challenges in conceiving, those who have experienced pregnancy loss, and parents seeking blessings for the health of their children. It is deeply rooted in the belief that the soul of a child is invited into a family through sincere divine grace.
- Blesses couples with the gift of children (santana prapti)
- Protects the health of the mother during pregnancy
- Ensures safe delivery and healthy newborn
- Removes doshas causing delay in conception
- Protects young children from illness and developmental issues
- Brings the soul of a spiritually blessed child into the family
Couples facing delays in conception, recurrent pregnancy loss, or those currently pregnant seeking divine protection. Also performed after childbirth as a thanksgiving and naming ceremony blessing.
Devi & Shakti Pujas
Rituals invoking the divine feminine for power, protection, and grace
Kali Puja / Durga Puja
Mahakali & Durga Archana · काली / दुर्गा पूजा
Goddess Kali — the supreme form of Shakti — and Goddess Durga are worshipped as destroyers of evil, removers of darkness, and protectors of the righteous. This puja includes recitation of the Durga Saptashati (Devi Mahatmyam), Kali Kavacham, and Mahishasura Mardini Stotram. Offerings include red hibiscus, red kumkum, and lemon-chilli garlands (protective totems). This ritual is performed when a family feels spiritually vulnerable — facing enemies, black magic, inexplicable misfortune, or the presence of harmful forces. Goddess Durga's eight armed form is invoked to completely surround and protect the devotee.
- Destroys evil forces, black magic, and negative energies absolutely
- Grants victory over enemies, rivals, and ill-wishers
- Removes fear, grants courage, and inner strength
- Powerful protection during Navratri and difficult planetary periods
- Overcomes obstacles that seem impossible to remove by other means
- Invokes the fierce mother's protection over children and family
Those facing persistent enemies, black magic, or repeated misfortune despite other remedies. Especially powerful during Navratri, Ashtami, and Amavasya. Also for those seeking inner strength through a period of transformation.
Varalakshmi Vratham
Varalakshmi Puja & Kalasha Puja · வரலக்ஷ்மி விரதம்
Varalakshmi Vratham is one of the most sacred rituals in Tamil and Telugu tradition, performed by married women (sumangalis) for the long life, health, and prosperity of their husbands and families. "Vara" means boon, and the goddess is worshipped as the bestower of the eight types of Lakshmi simultaneously — wealth, courage, victory, knowledge, children, food, patience, and salvation. A kalasha (pot) filled with water, mango leaves, and topped with a coconut is consecrated as the goddess's form, decorated with silk, gold, and fresh flowers. The puja includes the Varalakshmi Ashtottaram and special vrat katha.
- Long life, health, and protection for the husband
- Blesses the home with the Ashtalakshmi — all eight forms of abundance
- Fulfils the wishes of married women performing the vrat
- Removes financial difficulties and brings stability
- Strengthens marital bond and household harmony
- Equivalent in merit to performing Lakshmi puja every Friday for a year
Married women (sumangalis) seeking blessings for their husband and family. Performed on the second Friday before Sravana Purnima (usually August). NRI families who cannot perform the elaborate home ritual can have vadhyars perform it on their behalf.
Devi Mahatmiyam Parayanam
Durga Saptashati · देवी माहात्म्यम् पारायणम्
The Devi Mahatmiyam — also known as the Durga Saptashati or Chandi Path — contains 700 verses from the Markandeya Purana narrating the Goddess's three great battles against demonic forces. Its recitation is considered equal to the goddess's personal presence in the home. The three sections invoke Mahakali (destroyer of ignorance), Mahalakshmi (bestower of wealth), and Mahasaraswati (granter of wisdom). This parayanam is especially performed during Navratri, when the nine days of recitation create a powerful spiritual shield around the home and family.
- Complete spiritual purification of the home environment
- Health, marriage, and children's wellbeing through Devi's triple grace
- Protection against evil forces equal to the goddess's direct presence
- Removes all three categories of afflictions (physical, spiritual, karmic)
- Especially powerful for women's wellbeing and protection
- Navratri recitation multiplies the benefit a thousandfold
Navratri (nine nights) is the ideal time. Also performed for health, marriage of daughters, and protection. Recommended for all families annually as a comprehensive spiritual renewal of the home.

Obstacle removal, new beginnings, and milestone blessings
Ganapathi Puja
Ganapathi Archana · गणपति पूजा
Ganapathi Puja is the foundational ritual of Hindu life — performed before any ceremony, travel, business launch, or significant decision. Lord Ganesha, the first-worshipped deity (Prathama Puja), is the son of Shiva and Parvati, the master of intellect, and the remover of all obstacles (Vighnaharta). The puja includes the Ganapathi Atharvashirsha, Ganapathi Ashtottaram (108 names), and offerings of modaka, durva grass, and arugampul. This 1-hour focused puja is the accessible version of the full Ganapathi Homa, equally powerful for clearing the path and invoking auspiciousness.
- Clears obstacles from personal and professional endeavours
- Bestows sharp intellect and sound decision-making
- Creates an auspicious start for any new beginning
- Ensures success in job interviews, exams, and presentations
- Protects from unseen obstacles and negative forces
- Brings harmony to family relationships and group efforts
Anyone starting something new — a business, relocation, marriage, academic year, or travel abroad. Ideal on Ganesh Chaturthi, Sankashti Chaturthi, and Tuesdays. The perfect monthly ritual for ongoing protection and clarity.

Hanuman Puja
Sri Anjaneya Archana · हनुमान पूजा
Lord Hanuman — Anjaneya, the son of the Wind — is the embodiment of absolute strength, courage, devotion, and selfless service. He is worshipped as the most accessible deity, one who responds swiftly to sincere prayer. The puja includes Hanuman Chalisa, Anjaneya Ashtottaram (108 names), and Sundara Kanda parayanam. Offerings include jasmine garlands, sindoor (vermillion), banana, and til (sesame) oil lamps. Hanuman is worshipped specifically when a devotee faces fear — fear of enemies, illness, spirits, failure, or the fear that comes from the malefic influence of Shani (Saturn), who himself was humbled by Hanuman's power.
- Destroys fear in all its forms — physical, mental, and spiritual
- Grants extraordinary courage and strength in adversity
- The most powerful remedy for Shani (Saturn) afflictions
- Protects from evil spirits, paranormal disturbances, and dark forces
- Ensures victory in competitions, conflicts, and legal battles
- Brings swiftness and success in delayed matters
Those going through Shani Sade Sati, Ashtama Shani, or Ketu dasha. Also for anyone experiencing fear, paranormal disturbances, or facing powerful enemies. Performed on Tuesdays and Saturdays for maximum effect.
Sundara Kanda Parayanam
Valmiki Ramayana Sundara Kandam · சுந்தர காண்டம் பாராயணம்
Sundara Kanda is the fifth book of Valmiki's Ramayana — the chapter describing Hanuman's miraculous solo journey across the ocean to Lanka to find Sita, his compassionate encounter with her, and his triumphant return. It is considered the most auspicious chapter of the Ramayana, filled with episodes of unwavering devotion, divine grace, and the absolute certainty that obstacles will be overcome. The recitation by trained vadhyars creates an atmosphere of extreme devotion and auspiciousness. In Tamil tradition, Sundara Kanda parayanam is performed for 11, 21, or 45 days for specific blessings — online, vadhyars can perform it as a single, full, complete recitation.
- Removes deeply entrenched obstacles — ones that seem impossible to overcome
- Blessings of Lord Rama and Hanuman together — extremely rare and powerful
- Resolves long-pending matters: marriages, court cases, visa approvals
- Brings news of success after a period of waiting and uncertainty
- Heals estranged relationships and reunites separated family members
- Destroys depression and restores hope, faith, and joyful living
Those facing long-pending obstacles, estrangements, or waiting for critical decisions (visa, job, court case). Highly recommended during Rama Navami and whenever a devotee feels completely stuck and needs Rama's grace to break through.
Planetary Remedies & Ancestral Rites
Rituals to balance graha doshas and honour ancestors for family peace
Pitru Dosha / Shradh Puja
Hiranya Shradham & Pitru Tarpan · पितृ दोष / श्राद्ध पूजा
In Vedic tradition, ancestors (pitrus) continue to influence the lives of their descendants until they are released through proper rites. When ancestral rites are not performed — due to circumstances, distance, or lack of knowledge — Pitru Dosha manifests: unexplained suffering across generations, obstacles in marriage, childlessness, financial instability, and family discord. Hiranya Shradham is the gold-substitute offering that can be performed on any day (as opposed to the annual Mahalaya Amavasya rites), paired with Pitru Tarpan — water offerings with sesame (til) and barley for each ancestral soul. This puja is one of the most spiritually urgent and often overlooked of all Hindu rituals. NRI families especially tend to have accumulated pitru dosha from years of missed rites.
- Releases ancestors from suffering and grants them peace (shanti)
- Removes the karmic burden of Pitru Dosha from the family line
- Resolves long-standing delays in marriage, children, and career
- Clears unexplained family suffering, estrangements, and generational patterns
- Brings blessings from all ancestors — grandparents, great-grandparents, and beyond
- Earns the devotee profound spiritual merit (punya) and divine protection
NRI families who have missed years of annual Shradh rites. Those whose jyotishi has identified Pitru Dosha in the horoscope. Also recommended during Mahalaya Paksha (16-day ancestral fortnight) and on the death anniversary (thithi) of departed family members.
