Why We Sell Only Nepali 7 Mukhi

RudraKailash is run by one person, Subramani Lakshmanan, who has bought Rudraksha from the same farming families in Nepal for nine years, tests every bead himself in the RKRTL lab, and fits every silver cap by hand. Nepali 7 Mukhi beads are larger, heavier and have deeper, clearer lines than the smaller Indonesian variety, which is why the tradition prefers them for wearing singly. Our single 7 Mukhi beads are Nepali only. (Our Indonesian 7 Mukhi is sold separately, and only as a mala.)

Lab Authentication

Every 7 Mukhi sold here is examined by RKRTL, our in-house lab, before listing:

  • Three-view X-ray imaging (raw, edge-enhanced, inverse) confirms seven internal chambers matching the seven external lines, ruling out added, erased, filled or hollow beads, and simple miscounting.
  • Microscopic verification of each line from mouth to tail, separating natural lines from carved ones and natural holes from insect damage.
  • Density check, recorded on the certificate as Verified.
  • Three-axis measurement (length, width, depth) rather than a single number.
  • Species confirmed as Elaeocarpus ganitrus.

Enter the certificate ID at rkrtl.com/verify, or scan the QR code on the certificate, to see your bead's X-ray images and results. How RKRTL certification works.

Vedic Tradition and Significance of 7 Mukhi Rudraksha

  • Seven lines: traditionally associated with Goddess Mahalakshmi and the Sapta Matrikas (seven divine mothers), and with the Sapta Rishi (seven sages).
  • Ruling planet: Saturn (Shani); worn as a remedy during Sade Sati and hard Saturn transits.
  • Beej mantra: Om Hoom Namah.
  • Other names: Saat Mukhi, Sapt Mukhi.

Traditional Benefits of 7 Mukhi Rudraksha

These are traditional beliefs, not medical or financial claims.

  • Financial steadiness: the bead most associated with Mahalakshmi; kept in the cash box or worn to support steady income and reduce money-related anxiety.
  • Relief during Saturn periods: worn through Sade Sati and other Shani transits for grounding and resilience.
  • Business and decisions: kept at the workspace or worn during negotiations; associated with clear, patient judgement.
  • Emotional balance: described as helping shift focus from short-term worry to long-term progress.

Who Wears the 7 Mukhi Rudraksha

Business owners and the self-employed, anyone going through Sade Sati or a hard Saturn phase, people in finance or administration who handle money, and anyone rebuilding after a financial setback. Men, women and children can all wear it; there are no restrictions.

How to Wear a 7 Mukhi Rudraksha

  • Day to begin: Saturday (Shanivar), ruled by Saturn.
  • Thread or metal: red thread, or silver capping on a chain, worn at the chest. Many keep a second bead in the cash box or wallet.
  • First wear: hold the bead, set your intention, and recite Om Hoom Namah 108 times.
  • Daily: wear consistently, especially before financial or business decisions.
  • Care: wipe with a soft dry cloth; rinse gently with lukewarm water once a month; keep away from perfume and chemicals; oil lightly every few months so the bead does not dry out.

Silver Capping, Done in Our Own Workshop

Capping is fitted by hand at RudraKailash, not outsourced. The cap protects the mouth of the bead and gives a secure loop for a chain without touching the lines. It is fitted after certification, so the certificate shows the bead exactly as it was tested. Choose "with silver capping" at checkout.

Frequently Asked Questions

1. What is the price of a 7 Mukhi Rudraksha? At RudraKailash, a certified Nepali 7 Mukhi costs ₹815 (20 mm regular) to ₹4,504 (26 mm collector), after the 15% discount. Silver capping adds ₹600 on any size. Every price includes RKRTL certification.

2. What happens when you wear a 7 Mukhi Rudraksha? Traditionally, wearers describe steadier finances, calmer handling of money worries, and more resilience during difficult Saturn periods. The effects are described as gradual and are beliefs within the tradition, not guarantees.

3. What is the mantra for the 7 Mukhi Rudraksha? Om Hoom Namah. Recite it 108 times on first wear, ideally on a Saturday. Om Namah Shivaya is also traditionally chanted with any Rudraksha.

4. Who is the deity of the 7 Mukhi Rudraksha? Goddess Mahalakshmi, with the Sapta Matrikas. Its ruling planet is Saturn (Shani).

5. Where should I keep a 7 Mukhi Rudraksha? It can be worn on a thread or chain, or kept in the cash box, wallet or business drawer. Many people do both — wear one and keep one where money is stored.

6. Are there any disadvantages or side effects of wearing a 7 Mukhi Rudraksha? No. A genuine Rudraksha has no harmful effect on any wearer. The only real risk is buying a bead that is not what it claims to be, which is why every bead here is X-rayed and certified. Traditional discipline suggests removing the bead before non-vegetarian food or alcohol; if you do not follow that discipline, wear it with a clean heart.

7. How do I know my 7 Mukhi Rudraksha is original? Count seven lines at the mouth and seven at the tail, evenly spaced, running the full length with soft natural edges. The definitive check is the X-ray: a genuine 7 Mukhi shows seven internal chambers matching the seven lines. Every bead here is X-rayed by RKRTL, and the image is on your certificate.

8. Is the 7 Mukhi Rudraksha from Nepal? Yes. Every single 7 Mukhi bead we sell is Nepali, sourced directly from the farmers of Rudraksha tree in Nepal. Our Indonesian 7 Mukhi is offered separately, and only as a mala.

9. Is the 7 Mukhi Rudraksha lab certified?
Yes. Every 7 Mukhi sold here is lab certified by RKRTL (Kailasha Rudraksha Testing Laboratory). Each bead is X-rayed to confirm seven internal chambers, checked under magnification and for density, and ships with its own certificate, which you can verify at rkrtl.com/verify.
